The Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center (TCHCC) in La Grange invites everyone to a family Sunday Funday filled with music, food, laughter, Czech culture and remembrance during the 23rd annual Slavnost (May Fest) on May 19.Festivities will begin with a recognition ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

KC’s Mother’s Day Barbecue Chicken Dinner, Blood Drive The Knights of Columbus will hold their annual Mother’s Day barbecue chicken dinner on Sunday, May 12 at the Schulenburg Hall starting at 10:30 a.m. or when the food is ready to be served.

Garden Club flower show winners

The Schulenburg Garden Club had a Standard Flower Show, “The Arts,” on Wednesday, April 24 at the Schulenburg Hall.A wide variety of creative designs were displayed in the hall.
