The District 27-2A/District 28-2A Area Track and Field Meet was held on Thursday, April 11 in Thrall. The Lady Horns totaled 73 points to place third behind Shiner and Thrall.

Lady Horns down Bloomington after run-rule loss to top-ranked Shiner

After an early deficit on the road Friday, the Lady Horns defeated Bloomington 11-3 to improve to 4-6 in District 29-2A and 12-11 on the season. Schulenburg still had the inside track on the fourth and final playoff spot in 29-2A heading into the regular-season finale.
